A village entirely of stone
Holiday village The Rustici della Verzasca are an ensemble of traditional Ticino stone houses ("rustici") that have grown harmoniously over time. They were first converted and used for vacation purposes in the 1960s. The vacation village has grown since then and has always undergone gentle modernizations.
In several smaller and larger rustici are 18 very individually designed vacation apartments. They have their own bathroom, kitchen and outdoor seating area or balcony. Good to know
Stairs and premises
Due to the slope, several stone staircases are present on site. Some rustici have retained typical spatial conditions, such as low door heights, narrower passageways and/or spiral staircases.
Catering
The apartments have a fully equipped kitchen with refrigerator, 2-plate stove, cooking and eating utensils, kettle, mocha maker, some with dishwasher. Shopping can be done in Gordola, Tenero and Minusio. Every Monday-Saturday morning at 8 a.m. a bakery van stops above the vacation village where you can get fresh baked goods. Enjoy typical Ticino delicacies for lunch and/or dinner at the adjacent Osteria Paradiso. Reservations are recommended.
Ticino Ticket
Thanks to the Ticino Ticket you are free to move around every corner of the southernmost Canton of Switzerland. For the duration of your stay, travel for free on all public transport and benefit from many discounts at partner attractions. You will receive access to the Ticino Ticket at least 1 day before your arrival in the form of an e-mail with an invitation to check and, if necessary, complete your details.
Kids
Children also get their money's worth in the vacation village: plenty of free space with a playground, a swimming pool, table football, a ping-pong table and boccia. In some vacation apartments your youngest sleep in bunk beds or in the converted attic - fun, games and excitement.

There is a lounge available for individual use. This is equipped with a TV, a game table, books and a fireplace. The entire vacation village has a wireless internet connection.
Sauna
The sauna with grotto is available to all guests free of charge. Just reserve your visit on the blackboard by the entrance.
